World Ventures Information: More than Just a Travel Company

The internet is full of World Ventures information, a lot of it is negative and unsubstantiated talk. The truth is, World Ventures is a network marketing company that was created in December of 2005. They sell discount travel, and allow members to become travel re-sellers and earn commissions.

World Ventures sells two products, Dream Trip and the LTC package. Dream Trip is a membership that allows people to travel the world at rock-bottom prices. From white water rafting trips to stays at luxurious hotels in exotic locations, members can choose to travel almost everywhere.

LTC memberships give people the right to call themselves Leisure Travel Consultants. They can sell World Ventures travel through their website, and they can recruit new members to become LTCs. These people are not licensed travel agents, they are only authorized to book travel packages that World Ventures offers. If they continue with the company, they can become Booking Travel Agents and eventually Travel Reservation Specialists. These are company designations, they still do not make members regular travel agents.

People are usually exposed to World Ventures information by attending seminars held in restaurant meeting rooms and hotel ballrooms. First they are told about the travel opportunity, then they are told about how to become an LTC and earn extra money. When they sign up to be LTCs, they are told to market their World Ventures website to people they already know, like friends and family.

Multi-level marketing has a bad reputation in many circles. Quite a few people know someone who is always trying to get them into the latest program. Many people start out excited and enthusiastic, but quickly become frustrated when they have difficulty recruiting others into the program.

If only these people were taught basic marketing fundamentals, they would soon learn a whole new world of opportunity exists. Once they new how to sell, they could sell almost anything to almost anyone. They would discover a whole different method of compensation as well, such as affiliate programs that pay weekly or monthly, and others that pay directly into a PayPal account on a real time basis.

People don’t understand how powerful a solid foundation in marketing can be. Once people know how to sell, a world of opportunity is made available to them. They can sell in the real world, on the internet, and even make a business that helps local businesses sell themselves on the internet. There are so many opportunities available for people who know how to sell, the sky is the limit for those who have the marketing knowledge.

So even though World Ventures information abounds, joining thier programs is useless without specialized marketing knowledge. Instead, invest in learning marketing first, and then decide if MLM is the right choice.
